From 1 October 2026, the price of Xero subscriptions will increase in New Zealand.
This year, Xero delivered a wave of new capabilities to make the software faster, more insightful, and smarter behind the scenes.

*note, if you use Xero Payroll for more than 10 employees on your Ultimate plan, the price for each additional employee will increase from NZ$1 to NZ$2 per employee per month.
If you're paying more for your software, it's worth making sure you're getting the most value from it.
For many business owners, Xero is primarily used for invoicing and bank reconciliation; but it offers far more than that.
Features such as bank rules, receipt capture, online invoicing, quotes, reporting and real-time collaboration with your MBS advisor can save valuable time and provide greater visibility over your business performance.
Three reports worth checking this month
Profit & loss report
Review how your income and expenses are tracking and identify any changes in profitability.
Cash summary report
Understand where cash is coming from, where it's being spent and whether your business has sufficient cash available for upcoming commitments.
Aged receivables report
Outstanding invoices can quickly impact cashflow.
Regularly reviewing who owes you money allows you to follow up early and improve the speed at which cash comes back into your business.
Having access to live financial information means you can make decisions based on what's happening now, not several months after the fact.
